Dr. Athanasios Lathouras is an Otolaryngologist specializing in Facial Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine. He combines surgical precision with the principles of harmony and natural aesthetics, offering personalized solutions for both functional and cosmetic concerns of the face, head, and neck.

He graduated from the Medical School of Comenius University in Bratislava and completed his residency at the University ENT Clinic of the Athens General Hospital “Hippokratio.” He also holds a Master’s degree (MSc) in Audiology – Neurotology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, focusing on the development of innovative telemedicine tools for vestibular disorder management.

As part of his continuing education, he trained in Facial Plastic Surgery under the auspices of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS), gaining advanced expertise in rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, face/neck-lifting, and minimally invasive treatments such as botulinum toxin and dermal fillers.

Dr. Lathouras currently runs a private practice in Athens and collaborates with the Private Hospital MITERA, offering a full spectrum of medical services. He is also active in research, with numerous participations in national and international conferences, publications, and presentations.

He is a member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS), the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI), the Panhellenic Society of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, the Hellenic Rhinological Society of Facial Plastic Surgery and the Medical Association of Athens
